All physicians are board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, with fellowship training in the diagnosis and treatment of a comprehensive range of gastrointestinal disorders.

We are affiliated with Northwest Community Hospital, Alexian Brothers Medical Center and St. Alexius Medical Center.  We also maintain our own AAAHC accredited Endoscopy Center on-site, providing safe, convenient, high-quality outpatient endoscopic care, with procedural sedation administered by board-certified anesthesiologists available.

Illinois Gastroenterology Group

We are pleased to announce that Northwest Gastroenterologists is now one of the three founding members of Illinois Gastroenterology Group (IGG), a regional GI Group Practice of thirty physicians spanning across the north suburban Chicago area from Lake Michigan to the Fox River Valley. 

IGG's commitment is to practice quality medicine by measuring clinical outcomes, benchmarking these outcomes with our colleagues locally and across the nation to ensure that our patients are receiving optimal care.  We will be expanding our services by developing Centers of Excellence in Esophageal Motility, Advanced Endoscopy, ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound, a Clinical Research Institute and a Women's GI Center.

Our name will be changed but the same dedicated group of physicians and office staff from Northwest Gastroenterologists will continue to work every day to maintain and enhance our patient relationship with the added benefit of being part of the Illinois Gastroenterology Group.
